Denton-Geyser-StanDford/Grass Range- Winnett sophomore quarterback Brady Bantz connected with junior Ace Becker for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give the Bearcats a 26-24 come-from-behind win over Broadview-Lavina. The game, played in Stanford on Saturday, was a first-round playoff matchup between the Bearcats and Pirates. The first Bantz-to- Becker fourth quarter touchdown came at the 6:47 mark of the fourth quarter and covered 26 yards. The touchdown pass was the third of the game between Bantz and Becker, and cut the Pirate lead to 24-20. At the 4:01 mark of the fourth quarter, Bantz found a diving Becker in the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown. More importantly, it gave the Bearcats their first lead of the game at 26-24.
