On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the Montana Dept. of Health and Human Services reported a total of 183 new COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour period. Montana now has 1,945 known active cases and 241 more active cases than this time last week. There have been 105 deaths (8 since this time last week), 5,459 recoveries, and there are 140 current hospitalizations. A total of 252,296 tests have been completed by the State. A total of 57 tests have been conducted for Judith Basin, from which six county residents tested positive for COVID-19. One case is listed as active; five are listed as recovered and there are no tests pending.
